5 - DAY OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (ISO 45001: 2018) AUDITOR / LEAD AUDITOR TRAINING COURSE CERTIFIED BY CQI-IRCA, UK
Training Course
This Five-day non-residential training course is offered by EQMS Ingenuity Pvt Ltd and is a registered course with International Register for Certificated Auditor, UK (CQI-IRCA Course ID 1951). This course aims at providing student with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems against ISO 45001 in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO 17021 as applicable.
Prior Knowledge of the Standard is a pre request for attending this course. The expected prior knowledge includes knowledge of the following:
• The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle
• The purpose and benefits of an OH&S Management System
• A basic knowledge of managing (OH&S) through hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control and compliance with legal and other requirements
• A basic awareness of common examples of relevant national and local OH&S legislation and requirements
• Commonly used OH&S terms and definitions as given in ISO 45001
• Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 45001, which may be gained by completing an CQI-IRCA certified OH&SMS Foundation Training course or equivalent
Learning Objectives & Contents
On completion, successful students will have the knowledge and skills to:
Knowledge
• Explain the purpose of an occupational health and safety management system, of occupational health and safety management system standards, of management system audit, of third-party certification, and the business benefits of improved performance of the occupational health and safety management system
• Explain the role of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up an occupational health and safety management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021,
Skill
• Plan, conduct, report and follow-up an audit of an occupational health and safety management system to establish conformity (or otherwise) with ISO 45001, and in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021 where appropriate
The above course is designed as per ISO 45001:2008 requirements. The total course time devoted to direct instruction and assign team and individual activities shall be at least 40 hours.
